About me
Hi my name is Bobbi Sheena. I am fourteen years old. My language is Nakare. I like taking pictures because it is good to look at them later. I put them on my laptop and write a story about them and that's fun and I like to show them. I feel proud of my work.
I live at sidecamp. At the weekend I like to go with all my friends fishing , crabbing and looking for turtle eggs and seagull eggs, that's good. Seagull eggs taste a bit like chicken eggs. I like to play tin-tin at the weekend . We build up a pyramid shape with tin cans and knock them all down with a ball.
My grandmother shows me weaving and she knows how to speak my language and she's teaching me how to speak Nakare. I like to learn about ceremony, about ceremony law, dancing and singing for when the boys go for initiation.
It's important to learn about culture .
When I finish school I want to be a ranger. My aunty told me , ‘when you graduate you can come and help us by being a ranger'.
