Bidyadanga is a beautiful place, has plenty of things to do here like going out fishing or crabbing. because we live near the ocean and its not far from the community.
My name is Kerri I’m sixteen years old, I was born in Broome in 1994 and I live in Bidyadanga. I’m the eldest child; I have two brothers and one sister. I started school in Bidyadanga when I was 5yrs old, now in sixteen and still attending LGRCS. I like playing basketball, netball and volleyball. Because we live near the beach, I love going fishing and swimming I also like to spend time with family and friends.
I love travelling and exploring new things. Some of my favourite subjects in school are English, Maths and Society and Environment. In my free time I like to watch movies, go for a walk at the beach, listen to music, play sports and spend time with the girls (Venus, Leesharni, Josephine, Kayla and Danielle). When I finish school I would like to attend tafe, but if I’m lucky enough to get a change to go to university, I’d take it. I want to study to become a nurse or an aboriginal health worker. Would be happy to live in another town instead of Bidyadanga and come back here every now and then.
Life is bidyadanga is alright, better then living in town. There are always lots to do here like fishing, reefing, camping, hunting, crabbing and a lot more. I love living here because this is where I grew up, have lots of family and friends here.
